Chromebook Pickup / Repair - Wednesday's By Appt. Only

The technology department has concluded the mass deployment of Chromebooks. We understand there is still need to hand out devices to students and now we have to support the 900 +/- devices out in the field. To limit our exposure with the public and COVID the technology department is now operating a 'By Appointment Only'.  


If you need to assist a parent complete the form together below to reserve a spot for this Wednesday's Tech Support at BTHS. No Walk-Ups. Do Not Complete this form to see how it works. You will claim a reservation spot.

Improvements to Hangouts Meet

To improve the remote learning experience for teachers and students using Hangouts Meet, Google has made several improvements:

> Only meeting creators and calendar owners can mute or remove other participants in a meeting

> Meeting participants will not be able to re-join nicknamed meetings once the final participant has left

> Students can join a meeting without the ability to create a meeting


Teach From Home Website Launch

In partnership with the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education, Google has launched the Teach From Home Website which serves as a hub to help teachers and schools get started with Distance Learning.
