This year, we proudly recognize <strong>Mrs. Jacqueline Castellano<\/strong> and <strong>Mrs. Amanda Agiovlasitis<\/strong> for their exceptional contributions to our school community.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Governor\u2019s Educator Teacher of the Year: Jacqueline Castellano<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Mrs. Jacqueline Castellano has been an inspiring force within Brick Memorial\u2019s science department for many years. Known for her innovative teaching methods and unwavering dedication to her students, Mrs. Castellano transcends the role of a traditional educator. From leading advanced courses like AP Biology and STEM Academy to mentoring future medical professionals through the Pre-Med Club, she has continuously enriched the educational experience for all Mustangs.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Castellano\u2019s commitment extends beyond the classroom. Whether developing creative labs, collaborating with colleagues, or chaperoning student events, her presence is a beacon of positivity and professionalism. Her ability to inspire intellectual curiosity and cultivate meaningful relationships with her students and alumni has left an indelible mark on the Brick Memorial community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMrs. Castellano is a visionary educator, inspiring mentor, and a true role model,\u201d shared Principal Edward Sarluca. \u201cHer transformative impact on the lives of her students and colleagues alike makes her the perfect honoree for The Governor\u2019s Educator Teacher of the Year.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Educational Services Professional of the Year: Amanda Agiovlasitis<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As an academic interventionist, Mrs. Amanda Agiovlasitis embodies the essence of support and compassion for Brick Memorial\u2019s students and staff. She goes above and beyond her role to ensure that every student feels seen, supported, and valued. Mrs. Agiovlasitis develops tailored academic strategies, connects with families to foster communication, and provides a safe space for students who need extra guidance.<\/p>\n<p>Her dedication to nurturing not just academic success but also emotional well-being has made her a trusted mentor and advocate within the school.
