In a special ceremony, the team received a proclamation officially declaring October 22 as \u201cBrick Memorial High School Baseball Team Day\u201d and individual Certificates of Commendation recognizing players and coaches for their outstanding achievements.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"540\" data-end=\"852\">The Mustangs\u2019 2025 season will go down in school history. The team established a new school record for wins in a single season, captured an A South Championship, earned their first-ever Shore Conference Tournament Championship, and advanced all the way to the State Sectional Championship Game.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"854\" data-end=\"1113\">Led by Head Coach Evan Rizzitello and assistant coaches Chris James, James Mahoney, Skip Hopcroft, Nick Guiro, and Kyle Cline, the Mustangs displayed the perfect blend of talent, teamwork, and tenacity that has long defined Brick Memorial athletics.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1115\" data-end=\"1727\">Mayor Lisa Crate commended the players for representing Brick Township with class and character, highlighting their effort, determination, and pride in wearing the green and gold. Players honored included standout student-athletes such as Chris DiChiara, Luke Douglas, Justin Fabricatore, Michael Figner, Jaxon Figeros, Tyler Garboshiam, Andrew Garcia, Dan Golembiewski, Roy Hobbs, Braden Kubas, Trevor Kish, James Martin, Gavin McCue, Joe McGlynn, Matt McGlynn, Evan Meyer, Will Montanye, Jack Moriarity, Jake Weany, Brody Moore, Brayden Nalducci, Evan Pelo, Zach Pirnik, Dan Popovitch, and Jimi Popp.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1729\" data-end=\"1978\">\u201cThis honor speaks to the incredible effort these student athletes have put into representing Brick Memorial with pride,\u201d said Principal Edward Sarluca. \u201cWe are grateful to the mayor and council for recognizing their hard <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2897 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.brickschools.org\/bmhs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2025\/10\/IMG_0186-rotated-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.brickschools.org\/bmhs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2025\/10\/IMG_0186-rotated-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.brickschools.org\/bmhs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2025\/10\/IMG_0186-rotated.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/> work and commitment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1980\" data-end=\"2204\">As Mayor Crate read the proclamation, the moment resonated far beyond baseball.
