Brick Memorial High School Inducts New Members into the National Honor Society<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brick Memorial High School proudly welcomed its newest members into the National Honor Society during the 2026-2027 Induction Ceremony held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 6:00 pm. The evening celebrated students who exemplify the four pillars of the National Honor Society: scholarship, leadership, service, and character.<\/p>\n

\"\"Founded in 1921, the National Honor Society is one of the nation\u2019s oldest and most respected student organizations. Membership is more than an academic distinction; it reflects a student\u2019s dedication to leadership, service, and strong moral character. Induction signifies that students have earned the trust of their teachers and school community and are expected to continue serving as role models both in and out of the classroom.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was led by the Brick Memorial Chapter of the National Honor Society under the guidance of advisor Mrs. L. Rivera. Members of the NHS Board played a central role throughout the evening, including President Samantha Kurek, Vice President Shaylan McDonald, Secretary Jake Janeira, Treasurer Jaide Taylor, Historian Charlotte Kampf, and Media Liaison Megan Albanowicz.<\/p>\n

Principal Edward Sarluca welcomed families, faculty, and guests, recognizing the dedication and hard work required to earn membership in the National Honor Society. He emphasized that induction reflects not only academic achievement but also a commitment to integrity, service, and leadership within the school community.<\/p>\n

The program included the procession of inductees, the Pledge of Allegiance, and reflections on the history and purpose of the organization. The ceremony also featured a performance of the national anthem by current National Honor Society member Jessica Krinsky, who played the trumpet.<\/p>\n

A meaningful portion of the ceremony honored inspirational teachers selected by the inductees for their lasting influence. These educators were recognized for their dedication to their craft and their positive impact on students\u2019 academic and personal growth.\"\"<\/p>\n

The following students were inducted as members of the Brick Memorial High School National Honor Society for the 2026-2027 school year:<\/p>\n

Nicholas Barry, Sydney Blatt, Lyla Blood, Lilah Breen, Christina Caravassilis, Caitlin Chenard, Kara Conkling, Julie Dansereau, Owen Ehrmantraut, Francesca Genco, Samantha Gonzalez, Carly Hobbs, Sofia Kriso, Karley Muench, Kelly Murtha, Avery Nalducci, Miles Nalven, Emma Naples, Joseph O\u2019Neill, Sarah Palmer, Casey Pierce, Zachary Pirnik, Allison Porter, Caylyn Rivera, Samar Robinson, Kyla Rogacki, Sofia Salsa, Reilly Scardilli, Maren Schneider, Marcela Soriano Castaneda, Kewku Takyi, Dylan Vandeventer, Tatyana Williams, and Jianna Zuhowski.<\/p>\n

Brick Memorial High School also recognizes its veteran National Honor Society members, who continue to model excellence through ongoing leadership and service.<\/p>\n

The National Honor Society Induction Ceremony reflects Brick Memorial High School\u2019s continued commitment to academic excellence and character development.
