We will perform at a winter concert in January, a spring concert in May, and a district wide band festival. In addition to our band, we often have smaller ensembles play at our concerts and the talent show. Joining band in fifth grade opens up even more exciting performance opportunities for students in middle and high school, and can be the beginning of a lifelong appreciation for music.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator color=&#8221;custom&#8221; border_width=&#8221;2&#8243; accent_color=&#8221;#3da834&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;891&#8243; img_size=&#8221;medium&#8221;][vc_column_text]<a href=\"mailto:mwollek@brickschools.org\"><i class=\"far fa-envelope \" ><\/i>\u00a0<strong>Ms. Wollek<\/strong><\/a>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Art Club is a wonderful opportunity for students in grades 3 through 5 who are interested in the arts to come explore, learn and create. Come out and join the fun! Its mission is to promote goodwill, understanding and peace through the active participation of its student members. With committed citizenship and effective leadership, they will improve the quality of life of their school, their local and the global communities. Beginning in January, fifth grade Student Council members run a live news broadcast every morning.\u00a0 The Daily Dish is a popular club among fifth graders and a fun leadership opportunity that aims to improve public speaking awareness and promote school community.
