With a strong background in teaching, curriculum leadership, and educational innovation, she brings a student-centered approach and a deep dedication to collaboration with staff, families, and the wider school community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ms. Lane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Flagler College (1999) and earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from Monmouth University in 2004. That same year, she began her career at Lake Riviera as an 8th grade science teacher.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In 2016, she was named an Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow and served with the NASA Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate in Washington, D.C., helping to bridge classroom practice with national STEM initiatives. Upon returning to Brick in 2017, she took on the role of academic coach for science. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Education from Monmouth University in 2019, along with certifications as a curriculum supervisor and principal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">From 2019 to 2025, Ms. Lane served as the district\u2019s Supervisor of Science (Grades 6\u201312), Visual &amp; Performing Arts, and the STEM Academy. In this role, she led curriculum development, supported innovative instruction, and championed the arts and STEM programming across schools.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Now, Ms. Lane is thrilled to return to Lake Riviera Middle School in a leadership role, coming full circle to the place where her educational journey began. She is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for students, staff, and families.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Outside of school, Ms. Lane enjoys swimming, art, creative projects, and spending time with her rescue dog, Murphy.
