Brick Memorial Mock Trial Wins Ocean County Championship!
The Brick Memorial High School Mock Trial team has officially been crowned the Ocean County Champions after an outstanding performance in the finals. Competing with confidence, poise, and an impressive command of the law, the team demonstrated remarkable skill and determination, proving why they are the best in the county. Their victory was a testament to their dedication, preparation, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
Under the expert guidance of advisor Diana Corde-Leone, the team delivered compelling arguments and skillful witness portrayals that left a lasting impression. Katie Andras and Sophia Salsa led the charge as plaintiff lawyers, skillfully presenting their case with precision and confidence. Miranda Maneiro, Jude Smith, and Sophie Daly brought their roles as witnesses to life with convincing testimony that strengthened the team’s position. On the defense, Nate Devlin, Tatyana Williams, Jakub Kriso, Lilah Breen, and Eva Caravassilis delivered a powerful performance, showcasing their ability to think on their feet and dismantle the opposition’s case with sharp legal strategy. Every member of the team contributed to this incredible achievement, and their teamwork was nothing short of inspiring.
With the county title secured, the team now looks ahead to their final challenge—defending the Mayor’s Trophy against Brick Township High School on Monday, March 3, at the Municipal Courthouse. As they prepare for one last courtroom battle, the entire Mustang community stands behind them, ready to cheer them on to another victory.
