Head coach Walt Currie and the Brick Memorial football team look to bounce back with a successful season after a somewhat disappointing campaign last year. When asked about his expectations for this year’s team, Coach Currie said he wants to see “the boys show up every day to get better, compete, and strive to put together a championship season.”

Coach Currie believes the team’s great culture that continues to improve every year can be the key difference in the team, and this gives him confidence they can win this year. Coach Currie also expects many of his returning players to stand out on and off the field as leaders, which he hopes will contribute to their future victories.  When asked if any games on the schedule stand out compared to others, Currie said that the team’s only focus right now is their next opponent Ocean Township and after that, they will move on to the next one.

At the end of the season, Coach Curries hopes to see the fruits of the team’s labor pay off. He believes the team has worked hard and hopes to see everything come together.
