It’s another great day to be a Mustang as we cheer for senior Isabella Jacobs, a winner of one of the first annual College of New Jersey Presidential Merit Awards.  Due to the high competition for this award, less than half the applicants receive a financial prize.  Those who do win, receive an average of $2000.  Isabella did NOT win the average amount, as her overall high school record earned her the maximum prize of $12,000!

In its inaugural year, this scholarship may be granted to New Jersey residents who fall in the top ten percent of their graduating class and demonstrate a significant level of interest in The College based on their responses to TCNJ’s “Quest to Get to Know You Better” survey, which is made available to students after an application has been submitted.

We are so proud of Isabella!  We wish her the best of luck as she leaves the halls of Brick Memorial and astounds the faculty and staff of TCNJ.  But remember, Isabella, “once a Mustang, always a Mustang!”
