Brick Memorial High School’s Honors Chorus to Perform “Harmony for Humanity” as Part of Design Quest Initiative

The Brick Memorial High School Honors Chorus is set to take the stage on March 13, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the BMHS Auditorium for a powerful performance titled “Harmony for Humanity.” This event is free and open to the public.

Under the guidance of Mr. Kevin Bettys, the Honors Chorus is participating in Design Quest, a Teen Arts Initiative introduced to the district by Board of Education member John Henry. Design Quest merges STEM programs with the arts, encouraging students to use artistic expression—whether through music, performance, or visual arts—to shed light on pressing social issues.

For their contribution, the BMHS Honors Chorus has chosen to explore climate change and mental health through a thoughtfully curated selection of music. Their performance will feature a medley from the Tony Award-winning musical Next to Normal, Joni Mitchell’s classic Big Yellow Taxi, and No One is Alone from Into the Woods, each offering a unique perspective on the evening’s themes.

This live performance needs an audience! It will also be recorded and submitted as Brick Memorial’s official entry into Design Quest.

Don’t miss this inspiring showcase of talent and advocacy. Join us on March 13 at 6:00 PM in the BMHS Auditorium for this special, one-night-only event!
