The Veterans of Foreign Wars are hosting their annual Patriots’ Pen contest. Students in grades 6-8 can compete by writing a 300-400-word essay answering the question, “How Are You Showing Patriotism & Support For Our Country?” Please see your social studies teacher with any questions. You may use the links below to print out an entry form (you will need both, as it is a two-sided form). Deadline is October 31, 2025.
