VMMS was proud to honor our February Mustangs of the month. Every month, the VMMS staff is able to nominate staff and students from VMMS who exemplify the true character of a Mustang.
Below are the individuals who have been chosen and what others have written about them.
FEBRUARY MUSTANGS OF THE MONTH:
Grade 6: William Montesinos-Santiago
William continues to be a positive role model for his classmates. William is a phenomenal student that goes the extra mile both academically and socially. Recently, he found money left in our classroom. Without hesitation, he returned the money to his teacher and the owner was swiftly found. William is an honest, hardworking individual that is always willing to help his classmates! He is such a pleasure to teach! 🙂
Grade 7: Jessica Hennessey
Jessica is a very kind person. She always offers to help when she sees someone in need, whether that person is her friend or a complete stranger. She is actively involved in after school clubs, and even gets other students involved, who may not have joined originally.
Grade 8: Sara Pino Pineda
Sara recently came from a different school and has maintained a high average in all of her classes. She embraces all of her school challenges with grace. She is a standout person who has so much potential.
Alana Kelly (Cafeteria)
She greets students and all staff with the BEST smile paired with the utmost sweetness daily! I appreciate her patience with ALL students on a daily basis! We are thankful for her hard work, so early every morning!
Alli has been a GREAT addition to VMMS. She is incredibly helpful and dedicated member of the staff who gives 110% – both in her classes and to her colleagues.As a colleague, she is easy to work with – always willing to lend a hand, cover a class, or assist with other’s needs. As an educator she is innovative, creative and very hands on, her students have nothing but positive things to say about her class. Additionally she has been an asset to the Drama Production volunteering her time and assisting behind the scenes.
