Our High Schools…

• Support 28 varsity NJSIAA sports teams and at least 36 clubs or activities
• Offer a rigorous STEM Academy which prepares students for success at the most prestigious post secondary STEM focused institutions.
• Support a 1:1 laptop initiative where students are provided with a district issued device for home and school use.
• Offer French, Spanish, Italian and American Sign Language

Our Middle Schools…

• VMMS had an 8th grade student whose essay was selected as #1 in NJ and tenth in the nation for the InvestWrite Essay Contest.
• LRMS is a recognized National School of Character
• The top three winners of the VFW Post 6687 Patriot Pen Essay Contest were all VMMS students.
• LRMS has been selected as a 2019-21 PTA National School of Excellence
• The Water Bottle Club was recognized for collecting 175 lbs of plastic wrap for the Trex Plastic Film Recycling Challenge.

Our Elementary & PreK Schools…

• Technology is infused into daily lessons and activities. Classrooms have access to document cameras, projection devices, and computer workstations to facilitate instruction.
• Students K-5 are 1:1 with technology devices. Students Grade 2 through 5 are issued their own Chromebook to take to and from home.
• Leadership skills and talents are nurtured through participation in a wide variety of clubs such as Early Act, Student Council, World Language, Art, Chorus, Band, & Safety Patrol.
• A strong focus on social and emotional learning is embedded into daily lessons and school wide activities.
